Inside Sales Representative

Location: Remote

Amethyst Home believes that natural materials make for a peaceful home.  We celebrate artisans and source handmade furnishings from around the world for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Inbound lead sales assistance
  • Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas
  • Understand customer needs and requirements — recommend design solutions
  • Route qualified opportunities to lead designer for further development and closure
  • Identify and connect with ideal trade partners to provide design assistance and sourcing
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
  • Collaborate with lead designer to build pipeline and close deals
  • Keep detailed notes about customer feedback and opportunities

Requirements and Skills

  • You enjoy working for a growing company and creating your own path. 
  • You are motivated by beating last month's numbers. 
  • You understand this business is relationship based and you love asking the right questions to understand the best solution for your customers.
  • You have a track record of over-achieving quota and love the challenge of working for a start-up
  • Experience in home furnishings preferred but not required
  • Strong phone and e-mail presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
  • Proficient with zoom, texting, e-mail, and social media
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent

Base salary of $30,000 + commission.
